Ultimate Bedding Products was introduced to the marketplace in 2016 by Mr. Gregg Brown. After seeing the use of the products in Europe, we set out to do a proof of concept in the USA. We have undergone seven years of research and development to bring the ultimate bedding products to the marketplace.
The bedding market has undergone huge changes in the last 6-8 years. Straw was always in plentiful supply, but modern wheat varieties produce less straw. Sawdust is attracting high returns for supply into power generation. Sand is low cost but very corrosive to equipment and settles out in the lagoons. Our bedding is completely natural and totally biodegradable. Committed to the health of cows.
Ultimate Animal Bedding is FIVE TIMES more absorbent than shavings. It reduces bedding costs due to ability to use less. Bedding clumps when wet making it easy to pick up and remove soiled bedding, leaving dry bedding in place. It rapidly absorbs ammonia and urine, and keeps udders clean for easier milking. It is the ultimate bedding product in terms of comfort and hygiene.
Our bedding forms a friable base that cows know will be comfortable and will not cause injury or discomfort when lying down and getting up. As cows lie down longer, they increase their productivity, increase milk yields, increase rumination and reduce vet bills.
As a fully environmentally sustainable company, we have committed to 400,000 square feet facility to produce our bedding. Our product is manufactured from soft woods sourced locally in Central New York. These trees were planted years ago for the paper industry that are no longer needed due to paper fiber recycling. We deliver in a timely year-round basis in bulk loads to your farm.
